Newtown ROCK In-House Program
Newtown Girls Softball Association (NGSA)
Dear Friend,
As you know, texting and social media have become the center of the universe for your community’s youth. While information is available at the touch of a button, the cyber world has created a greater need to learn life skills outside of the screen. Girls who play sports do better in school, learn goal-setting skills and have increased self-confidence. They learn that hard work is not only necessary, but also rewarding.
The Newtown ROCK In-House program is a fast pitch softball program comprised of over 150 local families and players ageing from 5 to 18 years old who are active members in your community. The Newtown Rock Organization also features more than 10 travel softball teams with over 140 players aged 10 to 19 who train and compete year-round at the highest levels of regional play. The Newtown Rock program brings over 5,000 additional families into the community throughout the year for Tournaments, Workshops and Clinics. All of these families stay local and look for places for entertainment, meals and lodging.
NGSA is organized as a not-for-profit corporation (Federal ID #233028150). Support from you, our local businesses and professionals, enables the ROCK In-House program to support your local girls in many ways, such as field maintenance, training aids and equipment, indoor space to train and practice year round.
For 2019, you have several sponsorship opportunities that cater to any budget. Please help financially support your community’s organization and girls in its mission to teach softball fundamentals, good sportsmanship, teamwork and hard work.
Please contact our Fund Raising Committee Chair, Christi Hardy at 267-206-9781 or email at [email protected] to pledge your support.
With sincere thanks and appreciation of your generosity,
The Players of Newtown Rock Softball and the Newtown Rock Board of Directors
